“We are thrilled to partner with Gentleman Farmer Wines as they launch their exciting new space just an hour north of San Francisco,” said Desiree Hemmelgarn, director of sales and marketing, Z Hotels San Francisco. “Together, we invite guests to experience the full richness of the San Francisco Bay Area, where the vibrant culture of the city meets the picturesque landscape of the world-class Napa Valley Wine Country.”

Gentleman Farmer specializes in elegantly crafted, Old World-inspired wines meant to be accompanied by thoughtfully prepared food made entirely by Durham and Wołosz. With the opening of Gentleman Farmer Bungalow, a 1926 Craftsman home designed and outfitted by Durham and Wołosz, the pair will personally cook, host and share wine while engaging guests with stories of the Golden State, their personal history and Napa Valley. Gentleman Farmer Bungalow is about a one-hour drive from San Francisco.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to host guests of  Z Hotels San Francisco at our new space in Napa,” said Durham and Wołosz. “Hospitality is at the root of everything we do, and we look forward to sharing our wine, food, and colorful stories with the hotel’s guests for an unforgettable Napa Valley experience.”

Remarkable Medellín

Visiting Medellín in Colombia: The Country of Beauty is like stepping into a fantastic story — literally, as the city in the Western Colombian Andes region inspired Disney’s Encanto. Here, valleys, the world’s tallest palms, vibrant communities, colorful houses, garden-like balconies and more prove reality is more picturesque than anything on film. And it’s especially more tempting following Medellín’s remarkable transformation, shedding its troubled past and reawakening as a city of innovation, art, cultural richness, modern infrastructure, thriving tourism and resiliency.

Atticus Hotel Review

This homespun country inn is most associated with a wine country vacation, commonly decorated with “craftsman”- or “farmhouse”-inspired décor. While these often-folksy inns provide a sense of place, Erin Stephenson and Brian Shea, founders of Atticus Hotel, shook up that formula ever so slightly. Rather than go the “quaint” route, an eclectic and urbane mix of furnishings and accents blend the Pacific Southwest Americana of Willamette Valley hub McMinnville with the contemporary sensibility of Portland, located 40 miles south.

Immerse in Retro Style and Aviation History at TWA Hotel

Stepping into the lobby at TWA Hotel transports travelers in a whole different way. While most people plan vacations to travel to another destination, this particular hub instead takes you back in time to the golden era of aviation. The award-winning space resides in the expertly designed and restored former Trans World Airlines Flight Center, originally constructed by Eero Saarinen in 1962. Two added wings house more than 500 guestrooms overlooking the runways at the airport. But unlike many other airport hotels that get a bad rap, these rooms are insulated from the noise and activity surrounding the airport.
