Waldorf Astoria from Hilton Luxury Brands revealed newly enhanced development plans for Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch and the signing of Waldorf Astoria Lake Tahoe.
Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch
One of London’s most iconic historical landmarks, Admiralty Arch will become a new luxury brand under Waldorf Astoria with new ownership from Reuben Brothers. A two-bedroom suite will boast an incredible view of Buckingham Palace, sitting at the center of the building on the fourth-floor bridge. The hotel also plans to have exciting restaurants and bars with world-renowned chefs.
“Admiralty Arch is undoubtedly one of the most iconic landmarks in London and we are delighted to be working with Reuben Brothers on this magnificent hotel. With a legacy of preserving and enhancing incredible historical buildings, Waldorf Astoria is a natural fit for this development, and Reuben Brothers’ proven track record in delivering projects of this magnitude makes them a wonderful partner,” said Christopher J. Nassetta, president & CEO, Hilton. “Together we will write the next chapter of this exceptional building’s rich story and we look forward to expanding our partnership over the coming years.”
Waldorf Astoria Lake Tahoe
Expected to debut in 2027 on a 15-acre site, the all-season Waldorf Astoria Lake Tahoe will boast 76 guestrooms and 61 branded residences on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. The construction includes plans to restore Lake Tahoe with a 90 percent reduction in sediment runoff into the lake and a 38 percent reduction in total water and energy use.
“Now more than ever, our guests are seeking engaging experiences, from embracing local culture to connecting with nature. With Waldorf Astoria Lake Tahoe, guests will enjoy one of the finest natural settings at one of the most luxurious hotels in the destination,” said Matt Schuyler, chief brand officer, Hilton. “Bringing Waldorf Astoria’s distinguished hospitality to an extraordinary location like Lake Tahoe provides the perfect opportunity for travelers and residents to immerse themselves in the incredible, serene beauty that the destination offers while indulging in the authentic and sophisticated experiences for which the brand is renowned.”
