Utah’s largest resort officially opens next spring, spanning more than 600 acres. Black Desert Resort will lie at the convergence of three major ecosystems: Mojave Desert, Great Basin and Colorado Plateau.

The resort will include nearly 800 guestrooms and suites; seven dining venues; a 15,000-square-foot, tech-driven spa; heated outdoor pool and hot tub; and 45,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. Culinary spaces include an open-air dining venue, fine-dining restaurant, coffee bar, lobby bar, sports bar and Mexican-style taqueria.

Looking ahead, the resort also plans to add more rooms and suites; a water park; and additional dining, shopping and entertainment options.

Guests of the resort will enjoy easy access to more than 200 acres of preserved land and 6 miles of hiking trails. The resort is also anchored by a 19-hole, Tom Weiskopf-designed championship course, characterized by ancient basalt rock formations and towering sandstone cliffs.

The resort sits less than two hours from Las Vegas and a little more than 4 hours from the Grand Canyon.
