Using solar cells, magnets and the Earth’s magnetic field, these acrylic balls continuously rotate themselves on a variety of available stands to suit multiple aesthetics. While many designs are available, few prove as evocative and inspiring as the golden world across the deep emerald seas of the posh Green and Gold Globe, but feel free to match the mood of your room with personalized combinations of globe and stand designs. Atticus Hotel Review

This homespun country inn is most associated with a wine country vacation, commonly decorated with “craftsman”- or “farmhouse”-inspired décor. While these often-folksy inns provide a sense of place, Erin Stephenson and Brian Shea, founders of Atticus Hotel, shook up that formula ever so slightly. Rather than go the “quaint” route, an eclectic and urbane mix of furnishings and accents blend the Pacific Southwest Americana of Willamette Valley hub McMinnville with the contemporary sensibility of Portland, located 40 miles south.
