The Bath Priory, one of the UK’s most elegant hotels, opened a luxurious L’Occitane spa, allowing guests to temporarily transport themselves to the countryside of southern France. The Garden Spa by L’Occitane, the first of its kind in the UK, will offer hotel guests bespoke treatments and exclusive therapies using only the finest products from the Provencal brand.

The spa will feature four refurbished treatment rooms, themed to reflect L’Occitane products such as aromatic lavender and verbena. While waiting to begin treatments, guests can visit the relaxation room, which features wide double doors that open onto an expansive picturesque garden, reminiscent of the French countryside.

Other spa offerings include a nail bar offering full-service manicures and pedicures and a retail space where guests can browse a large selection of L’Occitane products made from all-natural ingredients, renowned for their restorative properties.

The spa’s signature treatments will include the rejuvenating 60-minute Verbena Relaxing Massage, which combines Swedish and Balinese techniques with Chinese acupressure to stimulate circulation, ease tension and relieve stress. Guests can also choose from a menu of beauty and skin treatments, such as the Immortelle Secret of Youth facial, intended to smooth and firm the skin. The new spa is a welcome addition to the renowned UK destination.
