Tips to Personalize and Distinguish Your Luggage

Feature

Thousands of pieces of luggage get lost each year, but there are many different ways travelers can customize their luggage, making it stand out from the sea of others at baggage claim.

Perhaps the most common answer to this predicament is to place a unique luggage tag on your bags. These can range from interesting shapes and designs to tags based on colorful cartoon and video game characters. Breathe some life into boring luggage and show personality at the same time.

If luggage tags are a little lackluster for your taste, there is always the option of using colorful tape to personally mark luggage. Depending on artistic ability, this can give any luggage charm and character.

If tape is not really your style, but you still want to make your luggage pop, paint on hard-shell luggage.

Moving even further in the direction of altering luggage to fit your style, get creative with travel stickers and patches depending on the luggage exterior. Some offer a vintage look while allowing the owner to recognize the luggage.

Similarly, a luggage belt helps both secure the bag and make it stand out to its owner.

If all else fails, or you want to be quirky in your actual choice of luggage, you can always reach for something out of the ordinary. Unique prints, shapes and styles will make sure your luggage stands out on the carousel just as much as any of the above tips.

Remarkable Medellín

Visiting Medellín in Colombia: The Country of Beauty is like stepping into a fantastic story — literally, as the city in the Western Colombian Andes region inspired Disney’s Encanto. Here, valleys, the world’s tallest palms, vibrant communities, colorful houses, garden-like balconies and more prove reality is more picturesque than anything on film. And it’s especially more tempting following Medellín’s remarkable transformation, shedding its troubled past and reawakening as a city of innovation, art, cultural richness, modern infrastructure, thriving tourism and resiliency.
