The InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, part of the tallest U.S. building on the West Coast, is now open.
The luxury hotel is the result of Korean Air and Hanjin Group’s $1.1 billion Wilshire Grand project.

The 73-story, 1,100-foot-tall property offers unobstructed, 360-degree views of Los Angeles. The height and sleek design complement the style of the InterContinental brand’s urban hotel destinations and reflect the laid-back sophistication of Los Angeles.
Eight hundred and ninety-nine guestrooms are located on floors 31–68, and there’s a sky lobby on the 70th floor, where a mezzanine-level bar offers views of the Westside, South Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The 69th floor features restaurants Sora and Dekkadance, and the 71st floor is home to La Boucherie, a French-inspired steakhouse. Atop the hotel is Spire 73, the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere.
Business travelers can take advantage of 33 unique rooms and 94,000 square feet of customizable event space, private limousine services and a 24-hour business center.
