The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay in California recently debuted its renovated spa. The space features reimagined lounge spaces, elevated water amenities and new treatments.
Designed under the direction of Hirsch Bedner Associates, treatment rooms feature thoughtfully appointed artwork, furnishings and accessories to promote a calming, harmonious space. The spa boasts revamped water amenities including a Himalayan salt sauna, steam room, cold plunge bath and mineral whirlpool.

New treatments were designed to promote holistic wellness practices, supplementing the current spa menu. New treatments include a vibrational sound therapy, intuitive energy healing, CBD ocean escape and Jin Shin Jyutsu.
“We are thrilled to unveil our completely reimagined Spa and wellbeing program,” said Rakesh Thapliyal, director, Spa, The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. “The new space supports our overarching goals of creating a holistic wellness experience at the resort, focusing on nurturing the mind, body and spirit through innovative therapies and an environment that encourages transformation.”

Book the special Resort Retreats offer through Sept. 30. This offer includes a $100 daily resort credit, which can be used toward the spa. A three-night minimum stay is required.
The spa is open daily, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
