Philadelphia’s The Rittenhouse hotel recently announced a partnership with Bario Neal, a Philadelphia-based and women-owned sustainable jewelry brand.
“Philadelphia’s rich culture and an appreciation for our community of creatives were the driving force behind this collaboration,” said Gregg Skowronski, managing director, The Rittenhouse. “From The Rittenhouse’s 35-year legacy of creating heirloom moments to Bario Neal’s dedication to crafting timeless, ethical jewelry, this partnership beautifully represents our shared commitment to creating experiences and pieces that transcend time, becoming part of a personal and collective legacy.”
The hotel and jewelry brand collaborated on a one-of-a-kind locket crafted from 14-carat recycled gold and ethically sourced diamonds. The piece is now available for purchase and on display in The Rittenhouse lobby. Customizable options allow each piece to be tailored to the wearer.
With the Rittenhouse Heirloom Experience, guests enjoy suite accommodations, a customized Rittenhouse Heirloom Locket, round-trip luxury transport to Bario Neal for the design appointment, a chef’s table experience at the hotel’s Lacroix, a Natura Bisse Diamond Collection treatment at the spa, and a celebratory bottle of Champagne and 24k gold-leafed macarons.
“In a way, honoring the beauty and history of Philadelphia is what inspired our journey as a local jewelry maker over a decade ago. It’s this shared passion with The Rittenhouse for celebrating local craftsmanship and preserving our community’s vibrant arts scene that fuels our excitement for the future. We’re thrilled to create completely custom, handcrafted heirlooms for both residents and visitors of Philadelphia, carrying on their personal legacies as well as that of our city in a truly meaningful way,” said Page Neal, co-founder, Bario Neal.
The Rittenhouse and Bario Neal also launched a first-of-its-kind Heirloom Concierge experience that allows intimate access to Bario Neal’s design experts to assist hotel guests with the reimagination of an existing piece or new custom design.
