The Market at Hotel ICON Unveils Lavish Alaskan Crab and Lobster Buffet Extravaganza

Travelers rave about The Market at Hotel ICON’s Alaskan Crabtastic Buffet, featuring delicious Alaskan Crab dishes and, thanks to its popularity, The Market elevated its dining experience with the addition of luxurious lobster-infused delicacies.

In addition to beloved dishes like live grilled Alaskan crab leg and Singapore-style black pepper crab in a golden creamy Musang king durian sauce with Dungeness crab, guests can order new dishes including lobster bisque with puff pastry, Thai-style lobster with pomelo salad and lobster claw salad.

The dinner buffet alternates between sake-infused diamond clams and lobster baguette, featuring diamond clams sourced from New Zealand; Teppanyaki tiger prawns prepared at a live cooking station; and stir-fried blue lobster with Sichuan pepper, which highlights the French blue lobster, known for its tender and sweet meat.

The Market is the first restaurant in Hong Kong to incorporate French blue lobster into its buffet offerings. When paired with Sichuan pepper seasoning, it creates a dish loaded with flavors.

The buffet table also includes sushi and sashimi, chilled seafood cold cuts, Hainanese chicken rice, double boiled soup, Indian curries, and delicious Godiva ice cream.

All day, guests also have the option to order lobster seafood paella, served by the chef on a large pan at the buffet table. This allows for a unique experience in both taste and presentation.

Executive Chef Danny Ho highly recommends the blue lobster with fresh green Sichuan, sake diamond clams and lobster baguette.
