From Feb. 21 to 26, 2025, a remote island off the coast of Northern Norway will be the setting for a luxury wellness escape offered by partners Up Norway and Norwegian wellness brand InRetreat.

The February retreat kicks off a series led by InRetreat CEO Nina Butler, and Up Norway’s founder and Chief Experience Officer Torunn Tronsvang. With a strong focus on Scandinavian wellness traditions and culture, retreats offer the opportunity to establish health-enhancing practices while connecting with nature. Days will include organic meals, yoga, guided meditation and mindfulness practices that will serve participants long after the retreat concludes.

February’s Manshausen Wellness Retreat will take place in the Steigen Archipelago, where the backdrop includes deep, sparkling water and craggy mountains. Accommodations are luxurious sea cabins at Manshausen Lodge. Daily yoga and meditation sessions incorporate Norse mythology, while activities include guided hikes, kayaking and nighttime skygazing for glimpses of the Aurora Borealis.

Next up is the Spring Wellness Retreat from May 1 to 10, with skiing, ski-sailing, cultural encounters and fjord exploration. Along with daily yoga and meditation, there’s also kayaking, hiking and Nordic sauna sessions followed by plunges into the clear, cold waters of the fjord. This trip wraps up in Bergen.
