Movies on the Potomac
I love a good outdoor screening, so when I saw National Harbor announced the return of its popular Movies on the Potomac series, May 1–Sept. 30, every Thursday at 7 p.m., “date night,” and every Sunday at 6 p.m. for “family night,” I had to share!

Chinese New Year 2022, the year of the Tiger, begins Feb. 1. One of the most colorful New Year celebrations, the Lantern Festival has been celebrated since the Han Dynasty more than 2,000 years ago. In China, the Lantern Festival, held on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, marks the end of the Chinese New Year. During the festival, houses are decorated with colorful lanterns, often with riddles written on them. A correct answer is rewarded with a small gift.
Wrapping Up Summer ’21 in a New City
While I am not quite ready for pumpkin spice lattes, I already bought our fall wreath and started bringing out the spooky decorations. Does that mean I’m eager for fall? Most definitely! And I’m sure many of you can relate.
