Fourth of July Fright
My fiancé and I ventured to the Poconos for the Fourth of July weekend, taking off a day early to hike. Our original plan was to visit Bushkill Falls, known as the Niagara of Pennsylvania, but due to capacity restrictions it was full, so we turned to Plan B and decided to try Thunder Swamp Trail off of Route 402.

United Airlines First to Purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel for ORD
Chicago O’Hare International Airport will soon receive sustainable aviation fuel, all thanks to United Airlines, which became the first airline to purchase SAF for use at the airport, one of the largest in the United States. Neste, a producer of SAF, will provide up to 1 million gallons of its Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The first supply arrived in August.
A Change of Scenery
I’m sure most of us could use one by now! As travelers, it’s not in our nature to stay in the same place for too long. I was feeling antsy to break free of my house but still wanted to be mindful and responsible with the current situation. Luckily, my fiancé’s family has a cabin in the Poconos Mountains, in Pennsylvania, that is fairly remote and lends itself well to social distancing. So last weekend we packed the car with groceries from our house, as well as our two cats, and headed north.

Poconos Weekend
This past weekend I had the chance to go to the Poconos in Pennsylvania for my family’s annual weekend on Fairview Lake. Every summer my immediate and extended family drives up to enjoy the weekend that allows us to reconnect through no shortage of lake activities.
