Bachelorette Weekend in Annapolis
Last weekend my friends and I went to Annapolis, Maryland, to celebrate our friend's bachelorette weekend. We are a group of laidback ladies, so we didn’t want to do anything too crazy, especially with COVID-19 restrictions still lurking. When we first got down there, we unpacked, settled and then started our day. We decided to just hang out at the house, play games and have a BBQ the first night, so we weren’t rushing to go anywhere.

New Routes Added to the U.S. Bicycle Route System
Cyclists, listen up! This news hit me as especially appropriate in our current climate, as it encourages bicyclists to get out into nature along five newly designated U.S. Bicycle Routes. They add 290 miles to the U.S. Bicycle Route System in four states — Maryland, New York, North Dakota and West Virginia — and Washington, D.C.
Back in the Saddle Again
This past weekend marked my official return to travel. My daughter had a softball tournament in Hagerstown, Maryland, and we made the 5.5-hour trip north to attend.
