Exploring More Jacksonville Restaurants: Las Tapatias
This past weekend, my best friend and I continued our exploration of restaurants around Jacksonville, trying new places to broaden our dining experiences in the city. This time we chose a Mexican restaurant called Las Tapatias. At first we came up to it and thought it was closed, the windows so tinted we felt disheartened and annoyed at ourselves that we failed to check their hours before driving there.

Riverside Wine Festival 2023
A few weekends ago I took part in Jacksonville’s Riverside Wine Festival. A few friends and I bought tickets online, which included a free cup and access to more than 250 wines. When we showed up, we didn’t realize just how many wines it would be until we saw it laid out before us. The festival blocked off an entire street for festival-goers to walk, sit, sip and eat.
Dinner at Biscotti’s
Last week my friend and I met up for dinner at Biscotti’s, a Jacksonville staple in Avondale, a historic row of buildings not far from St. John’s River. This section of town becomes quite busy when evening rolls around, as there are more than a few restaurants serving different cuisines, each unique and popular.
