Jacksonville Zoo Bursts with Life at Colors of the Wild
Last weekend my sister treated my family and me to an evening at Jacksonville Zoo. My sister currently interns with the behavioral health team at the zoo, and as a reward for her work, the zoo gifted her not only with general admission tickets to the zoo but also with special tickets for the limited-time Colors of the Wild event. This event is so popular, when we arrived we learned the event was sold out, and it was clear to see as we hardly found parking.

When we showed up, we didn’t realize just how many wines it would be until we saw it laid out before us. The festival blocked off an entire street for festival-goers to walk, sit, sip and eat.

Dinner at Biscotti’s
Last week my friend and I met up for dinner at Biscotti’s, a Jacksonville staple in Avondale, a historic row of buildings not far from St. John’s River. This section of town becomes quite busy when evening rolls around, as there are more than a few restaurants serving different cuisines, each unique and popular.
