United Airlines First to Purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel for ORD
Chicago O’Hare International Airport will soon receive sustainable aviation fuel, all thanks to United Airlines, which became the first airline to purchase SAF for use at the airport, one of the largest in the United States. Neste, a producer of SAF, will provide up to 1 million gallons of its Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The first supply arrived in August.
College Football and … a Ghost?
Ever since my daughter started attending college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, in 2021, we have wanted to attend a football game there. This weekend we finally had our chance.
Philadelphia Eagles at the Linc
As the Philadelphia Eagles season is finally upon us, it's great to be rocking our Birds gear once again. For the October 1st game against the Washington Commanders, my sister, cousin and I made our way down to Lincoln Financial Field to tailgate and attend the first Sunday home game of the season. This was also the first sunny day in a week or so of rain in the city, so it was fantastic to be outside and enjoy a warm fall day of football.

Football in the Queen City
My weekend in Cincinnati was centered on the football game between the Bengals and the visiting Seattle Seahawks. Making it more interesting, my married friends had divided rooting interests, as Tony cheered the Seahawks while JoAnne backed the Bengals.
