WTM London – World Travel Market 2019 Celebrating 40 Years!

I’m writing from London this week! I’m representing FXExpress Publications, Inc. at the annual World Travel Market conference in London, featuring booths of international and some U.S. travel partners in hospitality, tourism, airlines, car rentals and many other industries. I have had the opportunity to meet many professionals as I have explored the floor and am quite impressed with the variety and professionalism all around me.

United Airlines First to Purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel for ORD

Chicago O’Hare International Airport will soon receive sustainable aviation fuel, all thanks to United Airlines, which became the first airline to purchase SAF for use at the airport, one of the largest in the United States. Neste, a producer of SAF, will provide up to 1 million gallons of its Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The first supply arrived in August.

Guinea Pig in Peru

In March, I visited Lima. On the night of our arrival, my group went to Astrid y Gastón for dinner. The dinner was absolutely delicious, but one of the courses that really intrigued me, despite not eating meat, was the guinea pig appetizer. In the United States we see guinea pigs as pets, but in Peru the small rodent is a delicacy.
