The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay invites guests to recharge this spring with its variety of wellness activities. Located in northern California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the property offers guests the opportunity to disconnect. Whether you want to walk along the beach, play golf, indulge in a spa day or sip a glass of wine while watching the sunset, there is something for everyone.
Explore the area’s 180 coastal acres, filled with biking and hiking trails. The resort offers two golf courses: Ocean Course or Old Course. The Ocean Course features water views from each hole, while the parkland-style Old Course boasts a water view from the 18th hole. Tennis lovers can practice their game at one of the property’s six lighted courts. Tennis instruction is also available.
Indulge in a meal at Navio, the resort’s seafood restaurant with ocean views or at The Conservatory, a beach house-inspired restaurant. After your day full of activities, unwind in an Adirondack chair by one of the outdoor fire pits.
The property’s 16,000-square-foot spa offers several location-specific treatments. Inspired by the California Redwoods, the Redwood Forest Ritual utilizes local herb blends, leaving guests feeling grounded and revitalized. Coastal Lavender Indulgence promotes a restful night’s sleep. This treatment includes a light pressure massage, full body dry brush and body wrap, using lavender-scented products. Pearlescence Facial utilizes centuries-old Japanese techniques and Tatcha-brand products to reveal luminous skin. If you hit the links earlier in the day, opt for the Golf Recovery massage. The tension-relieving treatment focuses on tight, aching muscles, specifically the back, legs and feet. The treatment also includes an exfoliation. Guests may also use the spa’s amenities including the lounge, sauna and steam rooms.
