Six Senses Zighy Bay underwent extensive renovations to its three-bedroom Retreats and premium four-bedroom Private Reserve. Situated between the Musandam Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, the renovations enhance guests’ sense of comfort and seclusion.

Incorporating the beauty of Zighy Bay into the design of the properties, palm leaf and wicker elements are woven throughout the villas, with furnishings sourced from South Africa, India, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.

Located at each end of the beach, the Retreats were converted from two-bedroom villas to three-bedroom Omani-style villas. Each villa features more than 12,000 square feet of social spaces, including a dining area with a private bar, a lounge, indoor and outdoor living areas and an infinity-edge pool with beachfront sunbeds.

The Private Reserve comprises a four-bedroom villa complete with a kitchen, large living and dining space and a recreation room featuring an oversized pool table, private bar and cinema. The 32,300-square-foot property is the largest of its kind in the Middle East, with four separate villas serving as bedrooms within the enclave of the property. Each bedroom comes with ensuite indoor and outdoor showers. The Private Reserve also features an oversized infinity pool with views overlooking the bay.

Upon arrival to the newly renovated properties, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a paraglide experience. Booking The Private Reserve or one of the Retreat properties also include other benefits like a tour around the Gulf of Oman on a private sunset cruise, a fitness or yoga session with a personal instructor and a private in-villa BBQ cooked by the resort’s award-winning culinary team.

Six Senses Zighy Bay also pledges to become more sustainable, with its villas available for booking on a carbon-neutral rate. This means $10 from every room night booked will contribute to the Ay-Yildiz Wind Power Project in Balikesir, Turkey.
