Next year, Six Senses, the luxury hotel and spa brand from IHG Hotels & Resorts, makes its entrance into several popular destinations, including London. In fact, the debut of Six Senses London in the first half of 2025 will be the brand’s first hotel in the United Kingdom.
Offering an urban sanctuary at The Whiteley, a reimagined department store near Hyde Park, Six Senses London will boast 109 guestrooms, 14 residents and the world’s first Six Senses Place. This private members’ club will be designed for holistic wellbeing, making a hotel and wellness oasis in the very heart of London. This club includes a central bar and lounge, coworking spaces, a restaurant, and wellness and treatment rooms.
The new property will also include a cozy lobby bar and lounge, various spaces for private events, an all-day dining restaurant with an open kitchen, and a seating area in the courtyard. The hotel’s Six Senses Spa dedicates 3,500 square feet to fitness, while the 65-foot indoor swimming pool entices guests to relax. The spa’s Alchemy Bar and relaxation room with vaulted ceilings will also be highlights.
Also coming next year, the 68-room Six Senses Milan will provide discerning travelers with luxury in the middle of the city’s artistic Brera quarter, complete with two plunge pools, a rooftop bar, spa and more.
Beyond Six Senses, another IHG brand, Kimpton Hotels + Restaurants, has some exciting openings in store. Kimpton Main Frankfurt is set to open in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany, next year, as is Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella. In Algarve, Portugal, Kimpton Algarve São Rafael Atlántico debuts in 2025, while the second half of next year will see Kimpton Kuala Lumpur open to guests.
