Six Senses Crans-Montana reopens its doors this December, transforming into a winter wonderland for its first complete festive season. After its grand opening, the resort will remain open throughout the year, offering exclusive ski-in, ski-out access and a variety of culinary, cultural and sporting experiences year-round.
Recently, the resort received some enhancements, including a completion of 33 terrace rooms and suites offering views of four different mountains like the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. Along with new upgrades, guests can take advantage of new programming and offerings as well.
As the snowflakes fall, Six Senses Crans-Montana thrives. The air is filled with the aromas of winter feasts, and the warm glow of the holiday lights illuminates the mood. Guests won’t want to miss Christmas dinner in the Wild Cabin. For those looking to change it up, head to Byakko for an unforgettable Japanese omakase discovery experience. Each experience is offered for Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinner, with New Year’s Eve ending with a get together at Ora Bar & Lounge to welcome in a new year.
Six Senses Crans-Montana also offers family-friendly accommodations such as the three-bedroom Prestige apartment. Families can take advantage of the Grow With Six Senses, which features children’s activities ranging from active to artsy experiences. The new Return to the Roots experience takes travelers on a guided walk at dusk with the magic of mountains, hot chocolate and local gingerbread treats.
While the kids are out, parents should head to Six Senses Spa for some winter wellness. Choose from treatments such as a thermal journey with saunas and a cold plunge, therapists ready to soothe tired limbs in the Stretch Pod, locally inspired treatments and more.
If you can’t make it this holiday season, don’t worry, the hotel offers year-round fun for all ages. During the winter months, enjoy 85 miles of ski runs and slopes ranging from beginner to expert and even a World Cup run. Other winter activities include winter hiking, ice skating, ice hockey and curling. In summer guests can embark on hiking and mountain biking adventures, as well as paragliding experiences. Golf enthusiasts can play at top-level courses at the 18-hole Severiano Ballesteros, nine-hole Jack Nicklaus and Crans-sur-Sierre golf club.
