Round Hill Hotel & Villas’ Executive Chef Ian Maginley recently announced a new culinary event series bringing two Michelin-starred chefs — Marcelo Fukuya, from Kinoshita in São Paulo, and Theodor Falser of Johannesstube in South Tyrol, Italy — to the resort.
“We are immensely honored to host such distinguished chefs at Round Hill. The Michelin-Star Chef Series is a testament to our commitment of offering unparalleled culinary experiences to our discerning guests,” said Kiran Krishnan, food and beverage director, Round Hill Hotel & Villas. “Chef Fukuya’s innovative approach to Japanese cuisine and Chef Falser’s ‘Taste Nature’ concept promise to bring unique and unforgettable dining experiences to our resort. We look forward to welcoming our guests to these extraordinary events and a celebration of culinary excellence like never before.”
Chef Fukuya brings his authentic Japanese cuisine to Round Hill Nov. 28–30, Thanksgiving weekend. The events include a sashimi demonstration led by Chef Fukuya, a lavish Thanksgiving buffet with a Japanese live cooking station, a culinary fusion of Japanese and Jamaican cooking on Jamaica Night, and a five-course menu showcasing Chef Fukuya’s artistry as the grand finale.
Chef de Cuisine Theodor Falser comes to Jamaica on Easter weekend, April 18–20. Falser will lead a cooking demonstration, prepare a five-course Italian tasting dinner menu and create a one-of-a-kind dish for the Easter brunch.
