Rosewood Miyakojima is now accepting reservations ahead of its opening on March 1. This new property marks Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ first Japanese property, offering 55 accommodations, each with views of Miyakojima’s famous and pristine waters.
The hotel, designed by Dutch architect Studio Piet Boon, blends sustainability with the natural environment, using the original terrain and efforts of the local community to bring unparalleled luxury hospitality to the Japanese island. In addition to upscale guestrooms and suites, Rosewood Miyakojima will include four restaurants and bars spanning Japanese and international cuisine. Dining outlets focus on dishes and ingredients like Miyako wagyu beef, freshly caught fish, seasonal harvests and Okinawan sake.
Guests can also enjoy an infinity pool by the beach and an Asaya Spa, Rosewood’s wellbeing concept with six treatment rooms, a yoga studio and a fitness center. The spa offers treatments featuring traditional Okinawan ingredients like a mud mask inspired by the local Pantu festival.
The property also boasts a private pavilion overlooking the ocean, available for weddings and other special occasions, while families can make use of the Rosewood Explorers Club.
To celebrate its opening, the resort offers a special promotion for stays between March 1 and Aug. 31, 2025. This offer includes daily breakfast for two adults, credit for villa bookings or house bookings, early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability), and access to the fitness center.
