Qantas opened its new International Transit Lounge at Perth Airport. The lounge was planned by Australian industrial designer David Caon and SUMU design and has new wellness features.
New features include a wellbeing studio, which conducts stretching and breathing classes every 15 minutes pre- and post-flight, led by a yoga teacher from Perth. The lounge’s 15-shower suites have bright light therapy, purported to help with jetlag. Other features include seating for 141 guests, USB outlets, WiFi and wireless printing, an outdoor terrace with barbecue service and seasonal dining menus with a full buffet and bar.
The Perth International Transit Lounge is located in the new T3/T4 hub at Perth Airport and will be available to passengers flying between Perth and London (LHR) and on the London–Perth–Melbourne service. Customers must be in business class, or be a Gold, Platinum, or Platinum One member. It’s also open to Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire cardholders, and Qantas Club members and their guests.
