Statistics suggest about 30 percent of people have a fear of flying. In today’s global community, the phobia can have a devastating effect on career advancement, but less than half of 1 percent of fearful flyers seeks professional help — even the affliction has a 98 percent cure rate.

TakeOff Project is an online, fully interactive course created by Alex Gervash, a commercial pilot, psychologist and fear of flying treatment specialist. The program, based on 30 years of clinical studies, aims to conquer flight phobia in as few as 30 sessions.

The first 10 sessions, suitable for low-level fear of flying, are available free of charge. The second 10 address and the third set of 10 sessions, developed for the most embedded fear of flying, involves online and offline assistance from therapists. Each individual session is comprised of a main topic, a video, a summary, self-testing and homework. With consistent and dedicated engagement, the TakeOff Project can help fearful fliers stop suffering and start enjoying flights.
