Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Encore will undergo a significant drydock refurbishment this winter, providing guests with new upgrades and features. Spanning 20 decks, Norwegian Encore will soon feature a redesigned SPICE H20, an adults-only, outdoor lounge replacing the ship’s existing laser tag area.
This new lounge will boast hot tubs, cooling pools, large day beds and a bar serving tasty cocktails. Redesigned suites are also planned for the ship. The Haven’s suites, located in a keycard-access area, include the Premier Owner’s Suites, which will be expanded from two to three bedrooms. These suites will also include updated living spaces and outdoor furniture. Twenty-four new balcony staterooms and two club balcony staterooms will be added, taking over part of the ship’s Observation Lounge.
Also coming to the ship are the expansions of two of its most popular restaurants: Teppanyaki and Cagney’s Steakhouse. Both spaces will be enlarged and take over Los Lobos and Coco’s. Ocean Blue, Norwegian Encore’s seafood restaurant, will become Palomar, a Mediterranean-inspired seafood restaurant.
Following renovations, Norwegian Encore will take on a 12-day trans-Atlantic relocation trip to Miami, Florida, from Southampton, United Kingdom. The ship will then begin seven-day journeys to the Caribbean in March 2025.
