Norwegian is adding several trans-Atlantic flights from Dublin (DUB), Edinburgh (EDI) and Shannon(SNN) airport, all set for this winter.

The carrier recently dropped some services to Providence (PVD) and Stewart International Airport this past winter, freeing up planes to be rerouted to more successful routes. In Dublin, Norwegian will continue its increased summer schedules to New York’s Stewart and Rhode Island’s Providence into winter, while at Shannon it will increase winter flights on its Stewart route from two flights per week to once a day.

For Edinburgh, the airline will keep its daily flights to Stewart over the winter, up from three flights per week last year.

Overall, Norwegian said it is adding 90,000 seats to the United States this winter. CCO Thomas Ramdhal says the changes, “focus on boosting services that reflect strong passenger demand.”

Last week, British Airways’ parent company IAG announced it had taken a minority stake in Norwegian, which could eventually lead to an outright purchase.
