Five airports across the United States welcome new airport restaurants in the second half of 2024. At Palm Springs International Airport, Agua Caliente Concourse is now home to Nine Cities Craft. First opened April 1, this new spot is a haven for craft beer enthusiasts showcasing brews from the Coachella Valley. Nine Cities Craft also features a complete bar and food menu.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Uccello’s Ristorante make their entrance at Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A wide range of Italian classics, from pasta to award-winning signature pizza, await at Uccello’s Ristorante, which opened July 2. Freddy’s, the popular national franchise known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers and creamy custard, has drawn customers in since its opening on April 4.

In April, Vino Volo expanded its successful wine concept, adding a new Verdi Market at Jacksonville International Airport in Jacksonville, Florida. More than doubling its original location on Concourse C, Vino Volo now offers a more extensive menu selection, adding larger plates, breakfast, craft beers on tap and cocktails. Verdi Market also sells Jacksonville-based Pura Bean Coffee Co. with fresh bakery and grab-and-go items.

Bradley International Airport in Connecticut and Pittsburgh International Airport both welcomed Beercode Kitchen & Bar. This gastropub-style restaurant supports local businesses and highlights unique flavors. Local craft beers, ciders and craft cocktails are on deck. Additionally, at BDL in Connecticut, Beercode is the first sit-down restaurant in the Gates 21–30 concourse, open daily at 4 a.m. with breakfast, before serving lunch and dinner throughout the day.

But if your brood happens to be planning a beach getaway to Turks & Caicos, The Somerset on Grace Bay can provide an inviting oceanside home away from home.
