Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina opened its new Topgolf Swing Suite in downtown San Diego for the first time. In the hotel’s Bayside Lounge, the Topgolf Swing Suite features three Swing Suite simulators and games, and also offers a space for hosting events like business meetings, parties and more.
“Our Topgolf Swing Suite experience is not only elevating the hotel’s ability to host flexible and memorable events for all types of guests, it’s adding to downtown San Diego’s cultural footprint,” said Tom Tabler, general manager, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. “Whether you’re an out-of-towner enjoying the amenities of the hotel, partaking in business at our neighboring Convention Center, or a San Diegan seeking an exciting new interactive experience, our hotel is pleased to welcome the community to a new, all-encompassing waterfront experience.”
Rented either hourly or as a complete buyout of the space, each bay accommodates eight players and offers golf and non-golf games, including target games, carnival classics, hockey, basketball, football and more. The lounge also boasts ample seating, views of San Diego Bay and HDTVs. The Topgolf Swing Suites’ advanced Full Swing simulators let players try their hand at the most famous worldwide courses. Pricing start at $75 per hour per bay.
“We are proud to team with Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina to provide a new kind of interactive social experience that will entertain visitors of all ages and skill levels in San Diego,” said Ron Powers, president, Topgolf Swing Suite. “Powered by industry-leading Full Swing simulators, games are designed for both non-golfers and golfers alike, so everyone can have a great time.”
The 19th Hole menus offer food and drink, with items like wings, dips, macarons and more. In celebration of the new suites, the Bays on The Bay offer includes deluxe bay view accommodations, a private Topgolf Swing Suite bay to use throughout the visit, a food and beverage credit and a golf-inspired amenity.
