Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group recently announced plans to manage a hideaway resort with private residences on Bali’s southern coast on Bukit peninsula. Mandarin Oriental, Bali will open in 2027.

The resort sits on a cliffside plateau of elevated terraces, offering panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and direct beach access. Infinity pools, cliff-edge dining and wellness experiences are just some of the amenities on offer. The resort will additionally boast 110 suites and villas, a Chinese restaurant, a speakeasy bar, a beach club, a cliff-front lawn for events, a Spa at Mandarin Oriental, a fitness center, a Kids Club, tennis courts, and 68 private villas as Mandarin Oriental-branded Residences. Golfers will enjoy the resort’s proximity to Bukit Pandawa Golf Course and Bali National Golf Club.
Design Lab architects, interior designer Jeffrey Wilkes and landscaping expert Bill Bensley will work on the project, a collaboration with local real estate developer Harmoni Bali.
