When the Fort Island expansion at Madinat Jumeirah debuts in October 2015, it will claim title as largest hotel event space in the United Arab Emirates. At almost 20,000 square feet, the space has tripled in size and is capable of accommodating up to 1,400 people in a cocktail setting, and from 250 to 1,100 guests banquet-style.

The new venue has been rebuilt to accommodate large marquees and will provide versatile space for every type of event.”

The newly expanded venue features a sustainable landscape while preserving the fort’s traditional look and feel. Located in the heart of the resort and surrounded by Madinat Jumeirah’s characteristic waterways, the venue offers an impressive view of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. Commissioned in recognition of the history, culture and character of old Dubai, the new venue was inspired by the Al Fahdi fort located in the oldest existing part of the Dubai creek.
