Situated in London’s Mayfair neighborhood and overlooking Brown Hart Gardens, The Beaumont Mayfair debuted its multimillion-dollar renovation in time for its 10th anniversary.
Housed in a 1920s building, the hotel’s Art Deco interior design has been updated by the late French architect and designer Thierry Despont. The property collaborated with Zuleika Gallery on a collection of artwork from American, British and European artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Consisting of more than 600 works, the collection includes paintings, prints and ceramics. The showstopper is ROOM, a three-story structure from sculptor Anthony Gormley.
The Beaumont Mayfair boasts 101 guestrooms and suites, including 29 new rooms and suites. The original 72 rooms experienced refurbishment as part of the renovation. Rooms feature original prints, books and painting, unique to each individual space. The property’s lobby, bar and restaurant also saw refurbishments.
The Art Deco Hammam and Spa draws inspiration from the Turkish baths at Royal Automobile Club in London and the original New York YMCA. Decked out in black-and-white marble mosaics, the space boasts a hammam table, sauna, steam room, four treatment rooms and a relaxation area.
This September, Rosi, a new flagship restaurant, will debut. The restaurant will serve British comfort food alongside seasonal dishes.

Sep 6, 2024Escape to Tahiti for a Captivating Island-Hopping Cruise
The 118 islands of French Polynesia reveal themselves layer by fascinating layer, with the spirit of mana (vital force) linking them all the way from Tahiti to the remote reaches of the Marquesas. This is part of the world best savored on a journey that dives as deep into culture as natural beauty, both above and below the water’s surface. A cruise makes it easy to cover a lot of ground while unpacking just once (and sneaking in some work done in comfort, too, during at-sea days). And cruising offers particular appeal within this semi-autonomous French territory sprawling across nearly 2 million square miles of ocean and covering five archipelagos.
