JetBlue officially announced plans to launch its first-ever airport lounges in Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK). The airline’s inaugural lounge, set to open in late 2025, will occupy Terminal 5 of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. The second lounge will grace Terminal C at Boston Logan International Airport.

“Customers have asked for a JetBlue lounge for years and we can’t wait to unveil our take in New York and Boston,” said Marty St. George, president, JetBlue. “Lounges have become an essential offering for the growing numbers of customers seeking premium experiences, and JetBlue’s lounges will further boost the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our portfolio of JetBlue credit cards.”

New York’s JetBlue lounge will feature 8,000 square feet of space, while Boston’s lounge will boast a whopping 11,000 square feet. Both lounges will include the airline’s iconic blue brand elements, complementing local and regional artwork, personal touches, and functional amenities.

Both lounges center around three unique areas:

Lounge
Enjoy complimentary food and beverage offerings, and kick back alone or with groups throughout the space in comfortable, cozy seating areas.

Play
JetBlue brings the “fun” in functionality as mixologists shake and stir favorite, complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at a full-service bar.

Work
Private workspaces boast fast and free WiFi, an abundance of outlets, and free barista-made coffee bar beverages.

Access to JetBlue’s lounges will be reserved primarily for its most loyal customers and premium credit cardmembers. Complimentary access to the lounges will also be available to the holders of the new premium JetBlue credit card (details soon to be announced), TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, and Transatlantic Mint customers.

TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members and new premium JetBlue credit cardmembers will also receive complimentary access for an accompanying guest. Day passes and guest passes will be available for purchase by additional eligible customers based on space availability, as airport lounges continue to grow in popularity and airlines wish to prevent overcrowding and long lines.

Lounges also come with JetBlue’s standard of customer service delivered by hospitality-trained crewmembers.

“Customers love the JetBlue experience, so we’re pulling through those thoughtful touches you find onboard our flights into the lounge experience,” said St. George.

The introduction of these two lounges are part of the airline’s greater strategy to build the East Coast’s best leisure network, connecting travelers and offering premium experiences.

Relais Christine Review

Relais Christine, a posh 5-star Left Bank hotel occupies the former Hotel Particulier, a private mansion from 1607. Like many luxe Parisian townhouses, it was constructed around an imposing courtyard and hidden behind an impressively grand wooden doorway from the narrow, block-long Rue Christine. Its covered passageway leads to the landscaped courtyard, with its romantic seating areas.

Indulge in Wellness in an Oasis of Calm Aboard the New “Queen Anne”

The London traffic seemed to slog even slower than usual. The ride seemed never-ending. The anticipation was palpable. I was on a bus with fellow media, making our way from London’s Leicester Square to Southampton, England, to be among the first to step aboard Queen Anne, the first new cruise ship from Cunard Line in 14 years, just as it joined its sister royalty — Queen Mary II, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria — in plying the globe’s waters. With a capacity for 2,996 guests and measuring 1,058 feet in length, Queen Anne sails itineraries in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Western Europe and the Canary Islands.

Discover this Little-Known Gem of a Course in Roatán, Honduras

Roatán was one of those best-kept secrets known only to scuba divers and snorkelers when I first visited it in the 1990s. A skinny little island off the north coast of Honduras, it sits on the world’s second-largest coral reef, an underwater paradise stretching 625 miles along the coasts of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras. With its white-sand beaches, clear waters and friendly people, Roatán couldn’t remain undiscovered, but it is still one of the Caribbean’s better preserved and more eco- conscious destinations. It is not entirely immune to hurricanes, but it lies to the west of most major storm tracks.
