One of Ireland’s most striking properties reopens this fall after a major renovation.

Adare Manor is a 5-star manor-house-turned-hotel located on the banks of the River Maigue in the village of Adare in County Limerick. The former seat of the Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl, the manor houses boasts a rich history, palpable for guests who have the pleasure of staying at the 19^th-century gem.

The Manor’s 18-month transformation honors its architectural legacy while incorporating the latest in modern luxury. The renovation included a new 42-room wing; restoration of finishes, furniture, woodwork stonework and windows, and the addition of contemporary comforts like air conditioning and elevators.

The existing Manor House features an indoor pool and relaxation area with sauna, fitness center and movie theater. It will also house a new state-of-the-art spa, The Spa at Adare Manor, and Ireland’s only La Mer Spa. The manor’s expansive 842 acres feature parkland, walled gardens and walking trails. The grounds will also be enhanced during the renovation and will offer activities including falconry, archery, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, cycling and more.
