Convention hosts and event planners are always on the lookout for new and efficient event spaces. Montréal event planners have a new option as of summer 2018.

Hotel Bonaventure Montréal, formerly a Hilton property, recently renovated its entire convention space. With 397 rooms, the hotel is located in the middle of downtown Montréal and features an entire floor of convention space. The hotel is located on the top two floors of Place Bonaventure, a 17-story commercial and business center.

The hotel’s newly renovated event space spans 50,000 square feet and more than 34 multipurpose rooms — and even the largest column-less ballroom in Montréal. The hotel’s convention and meeting space is all situated on a single floor, making it easy to navigate around large events and smaller events alike.

The convention facilities are located a brief escalator ride away from the hotel’s main lobby and a one-minute walk from even the most distant rooms. Hotel accommodations facilitate working through meetings and conferences with comfortable and spacious work stations and complimentary high-speed internet.

The convention facilities re-opened in September 2018 following a renovation of the lobby and common areas. The next pieces of the hotel set for renovation are the rooms.

Hotel Bonaventure was founded in the 1960s to coincide with the Montréal World’s Fair.
