Hilton Hotels and Netflix are joining forces to offer travelers an even more personalized stay. By allowing guests to stream Netflix on all in-room televisions in Hilton’s high-tech Connected Rooms, more travelers can feel at home while away.
Guests can log in using their account information or sync their Netflix account with their Hilton Honors app and use the room keyboard or remote control.
Not only do the high-tech rooms include the comforts of home through entertainment, but also by connecting the hotel room’s lights and temperature through your mobile app so you can adjust while you relax or go out.
Users who wish to use the Hilton Honors app, just download to their mobile phone or device, add Netflix and any other media outlet they want and start watching. For those more comfortable with a classic TV remote, press the Netflix button and the Hilton TV will power on the login screen.
Don’t have Netflix? Guests can sign up on the spot in their Connected Room and start watching immediately. Once checked out of the room, your log-in information is cleared and the Connected Room goes back to brand new for the next guest — your information stays private and secure.
