Debuting at New York Hilton Midtown, the Hilton brand’s Herb N’ Kitchen makes it easy for travelers to find fast, fresh, healthy meals made with locally sourced ingredients. With a gourmet take on the grab-and-go model of dining, the part-restaurant part-market offers guests the option of sit-down dining, packaged take-away meals or in-room delivery.
The space is divided into three zones: Arrival (packaged products on display for quick pick-up), Barista (teas, coffees, fruits, yogurt and pastries) and Buffet (hot and cold prepared foods including artisanal sandwiches, brick oven-baked pizzas and seasonal salads). Just a few of the featured local food suppliers are Murray’s Cheese, Salty Road, Pat LaFrieda Burgers and Tumbador Chocolate.
Diners can peruse the offerings firsthand daily from 6–1 a.m., or call from their room for morning delivery from 6:30–10:30 a.m., and evenings from 5:30–10:30 p.m. A fresh breakfast buffet is available from 6:30 a.m. with the last seating at 11 a.m.
