Hilton sees new upscale hotels pop up across the world, each fit for travelers seeking an escape in a luxurious setting. Here are five Hilton properties recently opened or slated to open later this year:
Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis
Opened Aug. 15, this hotel marks the luxury brand’s entrance in Egypt. Situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Heliopolis, this hotel features a grand lobby with traditional elements. Favorites like the Waldorf Astoria Lobby Clock and Peacock Alley lounge make a home in the new hotel, as well as a beautiful botanical garden. With 252 contemporary rooms and suites, guests are spoiled with top-notch amenities and a variety of dining and entertainment outlets. The hotel is also home to Waldorf Astoria Spa, a pool surrounded by a landscaped garden, a fitness center, six meeting rooms and a ballroom. Ayda, a sophisticated restaurant serving eclectic Mediterranean “without borders” dishes, is a haven for guests, and private club lounge The Rosetta Club invites guests to another world entirely. Rates start at $400 per night.
Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts
Slated to open in November, this 72-villa resort will be the first LXR-branded resort in Southeast Asia. Each Bali villa come with its own pool, and guests of the property will enjoy access to five dining concepts (an all-day dining restaurant, Mediterranean specialty restaurant, beach club and two bars). A fitness center, extensive spa and kids club will also grace the property. The resort’s focus on immersive experiences defined by local cultures and traditions will see Balinese culture at the forefront of each experience. Rates start at $800 per night.
Also scheduled to open in November, this new hotel sits in West Bay and brings luxury and Manhattan flair to the heart of Doha. Spanning 44 floors, the hotel will include 283 suites and guestrooms, as well as 50 luxury apartments, each with a distinct Art Deco style. Enticing culinary options, including MURU helmed by Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, soon await. And on the 39th–43rd floor, guests enter Waldorf Astoria Spa, offering holistic treatments, salon services and fitness facilities, all with views of Qatar’s skyline. The hotel also boasts two ballrooms and three multifunctional meeting rooms. Rates start at $350 per night.
Orlando will soon be home to Conrad Orlando, complete with 433 rooms, including 51 designed suites and 10 spacious family suites. In addition to upscale accommodations, the hotel also boasts 40,000 square feet of indoor meeting space; a Conrad Spa with a private water garden; and various dining options, including a signature rooftop experience. Guests of the hotel will also enjoy a 20-acre tropical beach and 8-acre crystalline lagoon, as well as aquatic activities and two Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole golf courses. Slated to open later this fall, rates start at $593 per night.
Coming this December, this ideally located hotel will sit steps from Singapore’s famed Orchard Road shopping district. Featuring 445 sophisticated guestrooms, including 46 suites and five accessible rooms, Conrad Singapore Orchard seeks to give every guest a Conrad experience. Additional hotel amenities include a portfolio of world-class dining experiences, including a Michelin-starred restaurant and upscale bars. The hotel will also include more than 4,900 square feet of event spaces, as well as a contemporary executive lounge and fully equipped fitness center and pool. Rates start at $346 per night.
