High Hampton invites guests to embark on a curated winter weekend getaway designed to inspire, connect and rejuvenate. The Winter Weekend Getaway Series offers activities mixing culinary delights, artistic exploration, workshops and games, all set against the backdrop of Western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Jan. 17–19 | Carrie Morey x Graft Wine Shop
Throughout this weekend, celebrate the artistry of Carrie Morey, founder, Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit and Graft Wine Shop in Charleston. Kick off the trip with a Champagne reception while learning about Carrie’s story. Other activities include a biscuit-making class and multicourse dinner with special wine pairings from Carrie’s brother and Graft Wine Shop specialist, Miles White.
Jan. 30–Feb. 2 and April 24–27 | Mah Jongg with Dana Lange
Learn to play Mah Jongg with expert Dana Lange, who brings her blend of strategy, humor and game play to High Hampton for two different weekends. Beginners and frequent players can participate in interactive lessons, social receptions and more.
March 14–16 | Artist Collective
Artist Collective offers a weekend filled with creativity and connection. Led by Whitney Stoddard and Michele James, and co-hosted by Allison Williamson and Muriel Schelke, the weekend includes Champagne by the fireplace, painting workshops and a pop-up gallery showing off their work. Guests can also take their work home as a memento.
March 28–30 | Brackish Workshop
Brackish offers a weekend focused on craftsmanship and sustainability. Participants have the opportunity to create a classic plum thicket pin and set off on a guided hike for an inside look at how the company draws inspiration from nature.
