Yes, it’s harvest time — and that means great fall wine festivals, including the third annual Autumn Soirée The SLO Way Nov. 9 on California’s Central Coast. The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Garden Courtyard at luxury boutique Hotel San Luis Obispo, recognized as a MICHELIN Guide One Key property.
Attendees can expect performances of live music and fire dancing, a wine wall, and art by international artist and post-graffiti muralist Momo. Tastings from many of the area’s most celebrated wineries will be accompanied by delicious bites prepared by Executive Chef Ryan Fancher and his culinary team from the property’s on-site eateries Piadina and MICHELIN-recognized steakhouse Ox + Anchor.

Some wineries participating in the Autumn Soirée include Biddle Ranch, BOOKER Vineyard, CASS Winery, Chamisal Vineyards, Deovlet Wines, Des Par Ada, El Lugar, Hermon Story, McPrice Myers Wines, Paul Lato Wines and Talley Vineyards, with others to be announced. Among participating area restaurants are Agridulce, Bixby Dry Gin, Center of Effort, DAOU, Earth and Oven, Linnaeas, Malibu Seaside Chef, Morro Bay Oyster Company, Ohana Bros. Island Style Snack Company, Rod & Hammer’s SLO Stills, Sheila Kearns Chocolate & Confections, Sichuan Kitchen SLO, Tsar Nicoulai Caviar and Wild Fields Brewhouse.
