“With the mountainous terrain and diverse landscape that envelops our retreat, launching this new Hiking Retreat on Lānaʻi was a natural next step for us. While our programs so far have centered on the individual, these hiking retreats are structured in a cohort model, drawing together like-minded individuals and fostering social connections that are key to one’s well-being, all while being immersed in the island’s cultural riches and natural beauty,” said Alexandra Walterspiel, president and chief operating officer, Sensei.
The retreat includes:
- Five nights in luxury accommodations
- Three moderate and scenic hikes
- Hiking warmup sessions led by an on-site exercise physiologist
- Four 60-minute spa treatments and bodywork experiences
- A one-on-one Sensei Guide session on topics including fitness, nutrition, yoga, meditation, sleep or mindfulness
- Three semi-private wellness classes
- A sunset sail
- Optional hike to Koloiki Ridge on a rest day, plus a sensory lunch experience
- Select meals and $500 dining credit
- Opening and closing ceremonies with group dinner
- Round-trip flights from Honolulu on Lāna’i Air
