Located in the heart of the Cyclades island group, Mykonos offers travelers a luxurious holiday. Whether you are looking to sit back and relax by the water, go on a shopping spree, visit art venues, see archaeological sites or dance at nightclubs, Mykonos has something for you.
GETTING THERE & AROUND
Travelers starting their adventure in Mykonos fly into Mykonos-Manto Mavrogenous Airport. Most visitors transfer into town via taxi, costing about $30 for the 10-minute trip. Once there, visitors primarily explore the town on foot. The Greek government proclaimed the town an architectural landmark, prohibiting most motorized traffic. A bus system takes you to a few destinations on the island. Another fun way to get around is the Platis Gialos boat service, running to the southern beaches.

And it’s especially more tempting following Medellín’s remarkable transformation, shedding its troubled past and reawakening as a city of innovation, art, cultural richness, modern infrastructure, thriving tourism and resiliency.
