Guests at Four Seasons Hotel Boston can now enjoy a new amenity — a room filled with complimentary snacks and beverages. Guests find a “Vault” on each of the six guestroom floors and can grab and go as they please, accessing The Vaults with guestroom keys. Each Vault also boasts its own unique décor.
“We continually strive to innovate and enhance the guest experience,” said Michael Pedder, general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Boston. “The Vaults have quickly become a favorite amenity for guests of all ages—whether visiting with us for leisure or business.”

The Vaults offer snacks ranging from popcorn, chips and candy to nuts, dried fruits and jelly bean dispensers, alongside a selection of beverages. Whimsical décor in the Vaults include wallpaper with Benjamin Franklin blowing bubblegum, artwork straight out of a 1960s science fiction movie and more.
Jim Peters, director of creative, Four Seasons Hotel Boston, crafted The Vaults, which he describes as a “passion project.”
“I was looking for a way to expand the minibar experience for guests, whether on their way out the door to explore the city or snuggling into their Four Seasons bed for the night to watch a movie,” said Peters. “We infused playfulness and humor across both the décor and the selection of goodies to ensure that all guests experience that ‘kid-in-a-candy-store’ joy upon entering the space.”

May 14, 2025Hotel Van Zandt Review
One step onto Austin’s Rainey Street and you’ll feel like you’ve joined the cool kids at the best playground in the city. Just behind the cottage bars, pint-sized skyscrapers soar. One of them, Hotel Van Zandt, the Rainey district's pièce de resistance, beckons with a song-like spirit —apropos because the independently owned property, rife with music motifs, was named after beloved singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt. Sixteen stories high, the hotel embodies Austin’s lust for music, manifesting with a vinyl corner; trumpet chandeliers; myriad musical references; replica vintage posters in frames; and its own live music venue, which doubles as its acclaimed restaurant, Geraldine’s. Don’t miss the mesmerizing installation of colorful origami-like birds composed from vinyl records that flitter from an old phonograph.
