A hub for Mid-Century Modern design, Greater Palm Springs, California, celebrates the timeless design of Desert Modernism during Modernism Week. Taking place Oct. 24–27, the annual event offers visitors a glimpse into the glamorous homes and neighborhoods in the area.

View the area’s most iconic homes, like Frank Sinatra’s Twin Palm Estates, and buildings on a bus tour. Learn about all things tiki at the Escape into the World of Tiki! event led by tiki expert, author and bar owner Martin Cate. Attend a free cocktail party and book-signing event for Architectural Pottery at Trina Turk Palm Springs Boutique. After the October event, look ahead to February 2025 for the 20^th anniversary of Modernism Week. This 11-day celebration will include more than 350 events. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1.

Visit Palm Springs Art Museum’s Architecture and Design Center. Located in a 1960’s modernist building, the center is home to models, drawings, photos and other artifacts from the museum’s architectural collection.
