Day 1
Begin the experience on Baltra Island, which served as a U.S. military base to protect the Panama Canal during World War II and cruise around Daphne Major, a satellite volcanic cone located north of Santa Cruz Island.
Day 2
Day two brings guests to the black-sand beaches of Egas Port, Santiago Island, with the opportunity to see shore birds, Galapagos Hawks, sea lions, marine iguanas and Galapagos fur seals and then to Rabida Island to enjoy a nesting colony of penguins, along with sea lions and some sea birds.
Day 3-4
Day three visits Elizabeth Bay; take a scenic zodiac ride to see wildlife and a mangrove ecosystem before heading to Tagus Cove and Isabela Island. Day four includes stops on Sullivan Island for a walk among twisting hardened lava flows, and on Bartolome Island, one’s of the region’s most popular views.
Day 5-6
Spend day five in Las Bachas, Santa Cruz Island, and on North Seymour Island, before day six brings the cruise to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and Punta Pitt, both on San Cristobal Island.
Day 7-8
On day seven, visit Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island, the main population center of the islands and home to the National Park Service tortoise breeding center and Charles Darwin Research Station. Return to Baltra Island on day eight.
