Day 1
The Art Hotel Novecento is a 4-star boutique hotel located in Piazza Galileo, in the historical center of Bologna, just a few steps away from the wonderful Piazza Maggiore. The original building dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century and has been completely refurbished and opened in 2003. This charming hotel has 27 elegantly furnished rooms and is the perfect base for both business and leisure travelers visiting the magnificent city of Bologna, with all the sights and attractions just a short walk away: monuments, theatres, restaurants, exclusive shopping and eno-gastronomical areas.

Day 2
Join a small group excursion and visit the outdoor food market with the most beautiful food shops of Bologna where you can see, taste and buy the famous culinary specialties: Mortadella Bologna, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, Prosciutto di Parma, Aceto Balsamico, Salami and cheeses, seasonal fruits and vegetables. In the market we will buy the ingredients for the cooking lesson. During this lesson, you will learn the technique of preparing hand made pasta and to make “Sfoglia (thin puff pastry)” among other local dishes. After the lesson, at lunch you will enjoy your own meal and some other traditional dishes of Bologna.

Day 3
Starting in Bologna, this private tour takes you to the Emilia-Romagna valley as you discover where excellent food is produced! Your day starts with guided gourmet tour of Bologna where you will visit a traditional Parmigiano Reggiano cheese producer. Then, stop to take some pictures of the impressive Torrechiara Castle and surrounding area. In afternoon, you will visit a local wine producer situated in the scenic hills of Parma where you will have a tour of the cellar, followed by lunch and local wine tasting. After lunch, visit a traditional Prosciutto di Parma producer before heading to an Modena. In Modena, you will visit an authentic “Acetaia”, the famous balsamic vinegar lofts, followed by a tasting.
