Red Savannah invites the most adventurous foodies to venture on once-in-a-lifetime trips to eat around the world. These unforgettable itineraries take away the stress of planning while allowing travelers to wine and dine in some of the world’s most beautiful culinary destinations.
This 13-day road trip begins in San Sebastián, the home of 16 Michelin-starred restaurants, and includes a tour of iconic local food markets; world-class vineyards; and several locally sourced, gastronomic masterpiece experiences. Enjoy everything from fresh oysters for lunch at Chez Boulan at Cap Ferret on the Bay of Arcachon, to moules frites at Chez Hortense for dinner and sipping fine Bordeaux wine at a 19th-century Pomerol chateau. End the road trip with two nights at the stunning 11th-century chateau, Domaine des Etangs, where an indulgent Michelin-starred restaurant lies just a few steps away.
Red Savannah’s eight-day, self-drive tour, Gourmet South Africa, begins in Cape Town, where you explore Table Mountain and enjoy a culinary tour of Malay Quarter. The stop in Malay Quarter includes a traditional cooking experience from a local in their home, teaching guests to make cultural favorites like rotis, samosas and traditional Cape Malay curry. Next, travelers go back in time and sip the native Vin de Constance wine on the farm owned by the first governor of the Cape, Simon van Der Stel. Lastly, end the tour with Cape-exclusive foods including biltong, bobotie and koeksisters in Stellenbosch. Guests also taste chocolate, olives, olive oil and cheese in the Franschhoek Valley.
This nine-day journey through Norway explores nature’s bounty with stops to learn about and taste produce from local Norwegian farmers and chefs. Start the tour with a visit to a biodynamic farm, offering a farm-to-table dining experience. Throughout the trip, travelers enjoy fresh seafood at a local beach bar on Stokkøya Island before spending the night at a minimalist subterranean house. As an added perk, the journey includes lessons about the creation of local spirits, exploring sustainability, visiting a brewery and distillery, and learning to make aquavit like a local with the use of caraway and dill.
Scotland
Travelers on this trip experience Scotland’s culinary highlights from the city’s best butchers, fishmongers, grocers and delicatessens, with the help of a world-renowned, Edinburgh-based chef and raconteur. After gathering the finest ingredients in Scotland, guests join the chef in his home to take part in the preparation of a traditional Scottish meal.

Visiting Medellín in Colombia: The Country of Beauty is like stepping into a fantastic story — literally, as the city in the Western Colombian Andes region inspired Disney’s Encanto.
