The newest cabin experience from Delta Air Lines, Delta Premium, will debut on select international flights in late 2017. The experience offers more space, elevated service and thoughtful amenities on the airline’s longest flights. Delta is bringing premium back to the premium-economy experience.

For the past two years, the airline has introduced various customer experiences allowing customers to tailor travel to their specific needs. Delta One, first class, Delta Premium and Delta Comfort Plus offer enhanced experiences, while main cabin and basic economy provide the best value options. All cabin experiences provide travelers with a high level of service.

“Delta Premium is Delta’s latest example of paying careful attention to what customers tell us they want and responding with unique products designed to meet their individual needs,” said Tim Mapes, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Delta Air Lines.

Delta Premium will feature more space with up to 38 inches of pitch, 19 inches of width and 7 inches of recline; adjustable leg and head rests; Westin Heavenly in-flight blankets with a pillow and a TUMI amenity kit; pre-departure beverage service followed by seasonal menu selections presented with Alessi serviceware designed for Delta; a 13.3-inch, high resolution in-flight entertainment screen with complimentary movies, shows, games and noise-canceling headphones; in-seat power ports for large and small devices; and Sky Priority service.

The cabin will be introduced on the Airbus A350s entering service next year. The Delta A350s will include 48 Delta Premium seats, 32 Delta One suites and 226 main cabin seats. Delta Premium will be included on the Boeing 777 fleet beginning in 2018.

Also debuting on the A350s in 2017 is Delta One Suite, the world’s first business-class cabin to feature a sliding door. The suite offers customers an individual space accessed by a sliding door with personal stowage areas, a widescreen in-flight entertainment system and premium trim and finishes to create an unparalleled business experience.

Sail on an Eco-Expedition Into the Wilds of the Amazon Rainforest

The Amazon Rainforest sat at the top of my bucket list for years, and I'd long wanted to explore the city of Manaus, otherwise known as the gilded city of the jungle. In the 1800s the rubber industry made Manaus the richest city in South America, earning it the nickname the Paris of the Tropics.

The Salil Hotel Riverside Review

There are luxury hotels throughout Bangkok that deftly combine minimalist style, decorative accents, historic Thai iconography and luxuriant amenities. While Salil Hotel Riverside Bangkok, opened in late 2023, falls into the 5-star boutique hotel category, it is, by design, not a run-of-the-mill luxury property. The lobby makes an immediate impression, while different public spaces, rooms and suites immerse one into an ambiance rooted in Thai history, all while capturing a Bangkok that is a touch irreverent and forward-looking.
