Delta Air Lines is offering new on-board, complimentary snacks starting in June. The three new options include Squirrel Brand Almonds, Pretzel Perfection Olive Oil & Sea Salt Pretzels and KIND Healthy Grains Oats & Honey with Toasted Coconut bars, in addition to the airline’s existing Biscoff cookies.

The airline is adding the new snacks to keep options available for those with dietary restrictions; all three new snacks are gluten-free. Additionally, the KIND bar, Squirrel Brand Almonds and Biscoff cookies are also non-GMO.

“Knowing our customers are mindful about how they fuel their bodies when they travel, we’re pleased to offer a new selection of snacks, inclusive of healthy options,” said Allison Ausband, senior vice president – in-flight service, Delta Air Lines. “With 180 million customers a year, we want to keep the variety going onboard Delta.”

Delta solicited feedback from customers and employees as well as selected both well-known and up-and-coming brands using social media and tapping into what brands customers are talking about online.

The new snacks will be available on all flights more than 250 miles. Customers on flights within North America — ranging from 251 to 599 miles — can choose between the signature Biscoff cookies or Pretzel Perfection pretzels. Additionally, customers on flights more than 600 miles will have the option to choose between all four snack options.
