Carlingford Lough Cruises in Ireland, midway between Dublin and Belfast, takes to the waters for the summer with a new and exciting series of local gin tasting cruises to Ceilí on the Lough. The new evening cruises begin with the Summer Gin Tasting Cruise, operating every weekend through Sept. 10. In collaboration with Woodlab Distillery, Dungannon, Carlingford Lough Cruises highlights the award-winning Symphonia Gin on this highly-anticipated tour around the Lough.

Carlingford Lough Cruises will also bring back the popular Sunset Cruise, Meet the Maker Cruise and Lough & Lighthouse Cruise. The Lough & Lighthouse Cruise brings guests up close to view Haulbowline Lighthouse before exploring the outer area of the Lough and sharing the myths and legends surrounding the area. The Sunset Cruise takes passengers by the medieval town of Carlingford, King John’s Castle, the Cooley Mountains, Greencastle Royal Castle and Rostrevor Bay. Guests will enjoy live music and dancing onboard, guided audio tours and a café as they take in the scenery of the Mourne Mountains and Cooley Peninsula.

“We are collaborating with local businesses to highlight local produce and brands that we believe are world class,” said Irene Hamilton, commercial director, Frazer Ferry Group. “We know that our guests love to dance, so we have an exciting line up of live bands to play on the ferry from traditional to jazz.”
Passengers can board at the cruise terminals in Greencastle, County Down, or Greenore, County Louth.
